I have over six years’ experience teaching English Language and Literature from 11+ through to undergraduate. I have taught a broad range of abilities from 11+ to Oxbridge ELAT and interview candidates. In terms of syllabi, I have recent experience of 11+ and 13+ English scholarship and entrance papers for St Paul’s, Westminster, Winchester, Eton and Radley as well AQA and Edexcel GCSE and A-Level and Cambridge iGCSE and Pre-U. Whatever the syllabus and, more importantly, whoever the student, I hope to combine an innate passion for the subject with a detailed understanding of the curriculum and a desire to make whatever I am teaching relevant to the individual.

I am a passionate and enthusiastic English tutor with having read English at Oxford University, and attained a double first class degree in English Language and Literature from Oxford University. On graduating from Oxford, I went on to work as a professional theatre director for the producer Thelma Holt and at The Finborough theatre. Currently, I work as a freelance journalist and script editor.
