English, 7+, 11+, GCSE, A Level

I recently graduated from the University of Cambridge with a First Class degree in English, ranking in the top 20 in my year.

At A-Level I studied English Literature, Government and Politics, History, French and Spanish. I also completed an EPQ on literary representations of London. I have over 250 hours in tutoring experience covering KS1 all the way through to Oxbridge admissions for English. I also tutor Verbal Reasoning and Politics.

Prior to studying at university, I worked as a teaching assistant at a primary school providing individual support to children with special educational needs. During my time at university, I worked as a mentor for Access Oxbridge, mentoring students from state school/disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds with Oxbridge applications. As a result of this, I was invited to become an Ambassador for ZeroGravity, helping to recruit potential mentors from across Cambridge University.

I am now a Graduate Resident Tutor at Wycombe Abbey, the top girls’ boarding school in the UK, providing support for the English, Drama and Modern Languages departments. I also work in the Upper Sixth boarding house, help in the cookery department and coach their national award-winning Lower Sixth debating team.
