Nick
Physics GCSE, A LEVEL
My journey in Physics started from a passion for natural sciences and led me to a BSc in Physics at the University of Crete, where I graduated in the top 4% of my class. I graduated with an MSc in Environmental Science and a PGCE at the Imperial College London just the following year and worked as a Physics/Science Teacher in several state schools. My drive to enrich and improve my pedagogical practices also led me to pursue my MSc studies in Learning and Teaching at the University of Oxford, which allowed me to develop as a practitioner and pursue research-designed interventions for my students. Currently, I am teaching Physics, Theory of Knowledge (IB) and IB Extended Essays in a leading independent boys’ school specialising in AQA and IB DP Curriculum.
My passion is to help students with Physics. I have tutored all abilities – from students struggling to pass their exams to pupils wanting to guarantee an A* and prepare for Oxbridge entry. What your needs, I have come across them before and can provide support in any way needed.
Teaching Experience
I have taught and tutored A-level, GCSE, IGCSE and IB Physics, and I am currently also having the role of IB DP Extended Essay Coordinator at my school. I also support Internal Assessments (IA) in the IB Course, and I have been an A-level Physics examiner for the last two years.
