Ever since I was young, I was interested in understanding people and what makes them tick. I finally got my chance to study this in the late 1990’s when I was accepted to Sheffield University to start my Psychology degree. Having finished my academic study, I headed off to London to put my newfound knowledge into practice. For the last 12 years I have been teaching in Spain at a British school. Here I have been teaching Psychology A-level and GCSE exclusively. Throughout my teaching career I have been an examiner, first for AQA and more recently Edexcel. I have recently been offered some consulting work for Edexcel as they need experienced teachers to assess their resources. Working with exam boards is something that has been vital to improve my understanding of how best to teach the course.
