Biography

I am a medical doctor, having graduated from King's College London GKT Medical School in 2024, following a First-Class BSc in Biomedical Sciences from Queen Mary University London. My research at Bart's Cancer Institute, focused on improving cancer immunotherapy outcomes, reignited my passion for writing. I am now working towards becoming an editor for the British Medical Journal, combining my love of science and language.

I would describe myself as bubbly, hard-working, and ambitious, with a passion for helping children achieve their goals. Having arrived in the UK as a young refugee, I truly value education and hard work. I believe all students can achieve their dreams, and my role is to help nurture that mindset. At GCSE, I achieved 10 A*s and 2 As across both creative and academic subjects, and I bring a creative, engaging approach to all my lessons.

Teaching Experience

I have been a private tutor for the past 7 years, working one-to-one with students from KS1 to GCSE in English, Maths, and Science, as well as A-Level Biology. I have successfully helped 11+ students gain entry to top schools such as Westminster, Latymer Upper, King’s College, Dulwich, and Godolphin and Latymer, and supported GCSE and A-Level students in achieving A* grades. I focus on building rapport quickly, identifying knowledge gaps, and giving students the tools they need to stay motivated, organised, and confident, even during stressful periods.

Interests

I am a Grade 8 pianist and enjoy performing for family and friends. I also train with my cheerleading and Taekwondo teams, with whom I’ve competed and won national competitions.
