Primary Education, 6+

Since graduating I have worked in all year groups as a supply teacher and for the past 5 years I was a year two teacher, (in which three of those years I was the science leader and the last two of the years I was the phrase leader), before going on maternity leave and becoming a first time mum. As a teacher I believe there is not just one way of learning and I aspire to provide the right tools to help learners learn. One of the best ways to learn is to experience it and when I can, I endeavour to provide children with these opportunities.

Creativity, imagination, curiosity and positivity are words that are used to describe me and it’s these words that I find most inspiring about working with children. I graduated from Kingston University (UK) with a BA (Hons) in primary education in 2011, prior to this I spent many years with children, from babysitting, teaching abroad and various service projects supporting children across Europe, Israel and Tanzania.
