Spanish

I have a passion for languages and education and have been fortunate enough to work with a range of pupils from Primary to Undergraduate level in the UK and abroad.

After graduating in German Studies from the University of Nottingham in 2006, I spent a brief period working in PR before my desire to live abroad once again took over. I completed my CELTA qualification, moved to Spain and began teaching English as a Foreign Language, which I absolutely loved. In 2010 I returned to the UK to complete my PGCE in Secondary Modern Languages teaching at St Mary’s University, Twickenham. Since then I have predominantly worked as a teacher of Spanish (KS2-KS5) in “Outstanding” London schools.

Over the past two years I have split my time between Spanish teaching and delivering tuition to students with dyslexia, having gained the Level 5 Certificate in Dyslexia; Literacy, Intervention and Support from the British Dyslexia Association.

I am now moving away from classroom teaching to tutoring and really looking forward to it. I am experienced, supportive, have an excellent track-record for results and delivering engaging tuition.
